Our Areas of operation
Here are some of the cases in which you can rely on Service Team fence repairing professionals
The fence panel has blown out or leaning on one side.
Typically, fences are intended to stay in an upright position (the concrete/wooden fence post see to that). However, if you notice it leaning to one side or has ‘popped’ out, it suggests that the fence has been exposed to severe damage and needs to be replaced once measurements are determined. Gravel boards although sturdy naturally ‘sink’ over time causing unsightly and uneven border/boundary lines. The natural ageing and deterioration of wood is much quicker (overtime) when exposed to all weather without the added protection of a durable wood preserve. If you feel your fences need ‘tidying up’ or replaced, then call London repairs who will send a team of highly qualified professionals to examine the landscape and act accordingly!
Water saturation is causing fence panels to rot
Although you might be looking after your fence panels, keeping abreast of all repairs or maintenance when exposed to harsh cold or wet winters, it is pretty obvious that the material will start to rot and ‘crumble’ over time, resulting in significant damage, less durability and weakening, which ultimately ruines a once attractive boundary. Since you cannot be looking after your fences all the time, this condition is pretty obvious, leading to a complete fence refurbishment and/or replacement. In that case, London repairs are at your service, offering a high-quality replacement service at competitive prices.
Among many factors and the most obvious that leads to fence replacement is water damage. As there’s a high probability of your fence being exposed to frost, snow, hail, or rainfall across the UK, it is likely your fences will be affected by algae and or mould causing discolouration due to excessive water absorption. Panels become weak enough to be dislodged with a minor blow or gusts of wind. In each case, you can rely on London repairs to get the job done for you.
Damaged Fence Panels
If you observe your posts to be perfectly alright but there’s some problem with the panels, you can call our team to examine the severity of the damage. Once thoroughly checked, our professionals will suggest whether it is repairable or it needs replacement. In each case, you will be informed with the minimum possible cost to get the work done.
If the fence is broken
Just in case more than half of the fence is broken you can repair or replace it. However, replacing it with a new one will not be a bad idea in the long run as it will serve as a one-time investment that will save you from further costs for a good decade or two. Although, if you decide to go for any of the aforementioned options, just make a call and we will be at your doorsteps.
What else do we offer?
Well, the aforementioned ones are our major areas of operation. However, there’s also something more we can help you out with including:
Though our services cover broader areas of fence repairing and installments, our team has certain areas of expertise including:
Q: How much does a fence repair or replacement cost?
A: It basically depends upon the extent of damage and severity. If the issues are minor and require less technical efforts, then the cost will be predictably low. Otherwise, you’ll be charged accordingly. Though London repairs ensure maximum relief, there are still requirements to be fulfilled!
Q: How long does it take to repair or install a fence?
A: Again, it depends upon the circumstances. Normally, the complexity of the project is directly proportional to the extent of time taken. E.g replacement may take a bit more time than repairing. So does the technical faults when compared to minor issues.
Q: How to protect my fence from certain hazards to make it last longer?
A: Here are some tips you can apply to make your fence last longer:
Q: Should I seek legal permission before putting up a fence?
A: Well, it depends upon the rules and regulations employed by your local council. However, generally, you can put up your fence up to 2 meters without any necessary permission. Anyone planning to exceed this limit must keep the rules and regulations into account and must seek permission to avoid any legal complications in the future.

Do I need to provide parking?
As you know parking in and around London can be problematic and extremely costly (depending on the area) if a parking space can be reserved for our engineer it would be appreciated and help increase efficiency of the service provided (no feeding meters etc or mobile app updating). The quote we have provided does not include the cost of parking and/or congestion charge which will be added to the final invoice (if applicable). Please inform your personal account manager if any special parking instructions like parking permit/free parking can be provided. For properties on the rim of the congestion zone and it is not possible for our engineer to attend without entering/clipping the charge zone, we may need to add the charge to the final bill ? Please check with your personal account manager in advance of your appointment if you’re not sure?
