Case study – Putney High Street

The Job

We have just completed the full restoration of sash windows on a period three storey building in Putney High Street, which included the frames, top and bottom sills the weights and sash cording.

The completed repairs subtly blend in with the architectural surroundings of Putney High Street’s unique character. Due to the high quality and professionalism of the refurbishment the property developer has engaged serviceteam once more to refurbish a multitude of properties within their extensive property portfolio.

The project was a challenge due to the high street’s narrow throughfare, which is constantly awash with buses, cars, pedestrians, and shoppers, not to mention the constant traffic jams.

So, when planning the project we collaborated with Wandsworth Council, local businesses, and local residents to ensure we were working safely and securely, within the necessary guidelines, to ensure the scaffolding footprint caused minimal disruption and inconvenience to the local trade.
It proved to be a huge success thanks to the cooperation of all involved.
