An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR), previously referred to as a Periodic Inspection Report, is Serviceteam’s most detailed electrical inspection service, comprising of an in-depth assessment of the condition and safety of a property’s electrical installation highlighting any necessary remedial work.
Homeowners should get their electrical installation tested at least every five years. Landlords are required to carry out an EICR inspection every five years, or when the occupancy changes, whichever is sooner.
Our NICEIC registered electricians will detail in their report:
If any of the electrical circuits or equipment are overloaded
Any faulty/sub standard electrical work
• Indentify any potential safety risks
• Establish the adequacy of earth bonding
• Check the serviceability of equipment
• Determine the extent of any wear and tear or damage
Things not covered
• Any repairs or replacements
• An PAT – Add £60 + Vat
• The cost of re-inspecting any of the failures detailed on your gas safety certificate
What will it cost:
We charge a fixed price for completing EICR’s starting from 180.00 + VAT for a 1 bedroom property. For each additional bedroom we add £35 + Vat. if you would like your Carbon Monoxide or smoke alarm installed during the same visit add £35 + Vat. And have your PAT test during the same visit for £60 + Vat.

Q: How do you work out your charge?
A: We charge a fixed price for completing EICR’s starting from 180.00 + VAT for a 1 bedroom property. For each additional bedroom we add £35 + Vat.
Q: What if the engineer finds a fault during the checks?
A: Our engineer will provide you with a full report detailing exactly what needs to be done to bring them the property up to current regulations and make them safe as well as a quote if necessary.
Q: Will you ever charge me more than authorised?
A: We will never proceed with works without seeking authorisation from the bill payer.
Q: How do I pay?
A: In cash after your service is complete, or with a card over the phone.
Q: Whose responsibility is it to organise the parking?
A: We kindly ask that you arrange parking for us.

Q: When are you going to arrive?
A: We will agree on an arrival slot with you, and our engineer will contact you when he’s on route.
Q: Will the engineer be NICEIC qualified?
A: The company is NICEIC registered and your engineer will be city a guilds qualified to work on your electrics.
